Experiences in the Full-Time Training, Helen Huang

I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I worked as a school nurse in a junior high school in Dallas, TX.

Before coming to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) with my husband, I enjoyed opening my home for brothers and sisters in Christ, and taking care of young people meeting with the church in Irving. However, in my serving with the junior-high age, I realized my capacity was very limited. I could only shepherd the young ones in a shallow way. I felt that I could only help out with some practical matters.

By the Lord's sovereign mercy, the Lord brought my husband and I to the FTTA. Praise the Lord for the training! I am under the Lord's rich dispensing daily. The Training is not designed to make me become a super Christian, but it ushers me to live a normal Christian life. My walk and my love for the Lord is richer and deeper than it was two years ago. I am also learning how to preach the gospel and take care of students on the college campuses. Before the Training, I was afraid of speaking to people, and I was always running away from any gospel opportunities. Now, four terms later, I thoroughly enjoy preaching the gospel, taking care of students, and praying for the students with my gospel partner. It is the greatest feeling to see the young Christians grow in the Lord and enjoy the Lord on their own. These are just some of the experiences that I would never have experienced if I did not come to the Training. I am full of praise and thankfulness to the Lord for His leading, and for everything He has done for me in the Full-Time Training.
